One aspect of touring I love is meeting fans of the band: the people who help me live out my dream job and write/release new songs. You guys are incredible, and so encouraging to me. I love getting to talk to many of you after shows, but I'm finding it increasingly more difficult to be able to have in-depth conversations or really be able to ask/answer questions some of you have. Time is so precious, and venues can only stay open so late, it's loud, sometimes interactions can feel rushed, and sleep is also important on tour (staying up talking until 2am sounds fun, but it can make for an early morning to the next show)...so this is an idea I have to remedy the situation. Each night I am going to offer a VERY limited number of meetup tickets for each city I play, but the basic idea is to grab a coffee (or whatever your beverage of choice might be) and hang out together. I want to get to know you, and I want to create some community within the group of people who listen to the music. Ask me questions, I'll probably have a million questions for you. I might have snippets of the new record to show you, or other fun goodies along the way! Getting to know fans is so important to me, and I want more than the 2 minutes at the merch table after I play to say hi to the people who listen to the music. I'm going to try this out and see how it goes, and hopefully we can make this a thing I do at every show, with some surprises here and there for those who come out. Hopefully those of you who attend the meetups can make a new friend or two as well. Thanks for believing in this, and see you in your city this fall. Sincerely,  Mike
